About Bitcoin&

I lived through one of the harshest economic and monetary crises in modern history.

Friends, family, and neighbors lost their life savings - their wealth taken by a system that failed them. A currency devalued by over 90%. A banking system that collapsed under its own weight.

Witnessing this left me questioning why it all happened.

As I searched for answers, I discovered Bitcoin. With a background in economics, I was drawn to its foundations in Austrian economics.

I learned that money could and should exist beyond the control of central banks and governments - that it is essentially a technology that has been emerging and evolving in societies for millennia, contrary to what we knew about state-imposed currency.

It showed me that even within a rigged system, there is a silver lining. A tool that could one day empower 8 billion people to truly own their money. That allows anyone on earth to exchange value without permission and save the fruit of their labor with no interference.

My learnings, on top of my life's experiences, directly equipped me to view it as a lifeline. Bitcoin gave me a purpose. A new way to serve.

It gave me the ability to save for the first time. My discipline improved drastically. My world view turned upside down. The learning journey alone pushed me to level up in so many fields I hardly recognized myself anymore.

Yet, I hesitated to act on this passion. I had the knowledge - even earning a Master's in "Blockchain & Digital Currency" - but lacked the skills, the confidence, and the courage to step away from a traditional career path to pursue a dream as bold as Bitcoin.

I worked as an accountant with a startup, briefly in economic advisory for a Big Four, and as a business analyst for a blockchain gaming company.

By mid-2023, for many reasons, I burned out. Crippled with anxiety, fear, and a goal in sight I was terrified to chase.

After taking some time to reset, I began filling the gaps in my knowledge and skills.

I kept studying. Until I couldn't evade this reality anymore:

"Dwelling in theory and planning wasn't going to take me anywhere."

So, I took a leap of faith.

I started teaching small business owners in Lebanon about Bitcoin's importance. At the same time, I worked with Bitcoin-focused founders on growth - helping them reach beyond the Bitcoin echo chamber into the traditional business world.

But Bitcoin& was always meant for something else.

So I made a choice.

That was the beginning of Bitcoin& as it exists today.
